Delete Your Account and Data

This page explains how to permanently delete your Discover Aruba account and the personal data associated with it. This applies to the Discover Aruba: Travel Guide app published by Fuchsoto Group LLC on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

How to Delete Your Account

Option 1 — In the App (instant)

1. Open the Discover Aruba app;
2. Go to Settings → Delete Account;
3. Confirm the deletion.

Your account record, geofence event history, and associated identifiers are deleted immediately, except where we are legally required to retain certain records for longer.

Option 2 — By Email

If you can no longer access the App, send an email to info@fuchsotogroup.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request — Discover Aruba" and include:

• The email address associated with your Discover Aruba account;
• Your name as entered in the App (if provided).

We may contact you at that email address to verify that the request came from the account owner before deleting the account.

What Is Deleted

• Your account and login credentials;
• Your name, email address, and user ID;
• Your geofence event history (records of alert zones you entered or left);
• Saved preferences and offer redemption history linked to your account;
• Your device identifiers and push notification token.

What May Be Retained

We may retain limited information after account deletion only where necessary to:

• Comply with legal, tax, or accounting obligations;
• Resolve disputes or enforce our agreements.

Any retained records are kept only as long as required for those purposes. Aggregated statistics that do not identify you (for example, total offer redemption counts) are not linked to your identity and may be retained.

Removing App Permissions Without Deleting Your Account

If you want to stop sharing data without deleting your account, you can at any time:

• Turn off location access for Discover Aruba in your device settings;
• Turn off push notifications in your device settings;
• Uninstall the App (note: uninstalling alone does not delete your account — use the request process above).
